Schools, Colleges & Universities

ECS has served every part of the education sector from individual nursery and primary schools through to entire university campuses, not only within Public Sector education but for private providers.
Commissions are from a variety of sources; via existing frameworks such as Local Authority select lists, through Architects and Project Managers or direct, working for  University Estates Departments and Academy Schools.
In all situations, ECS consistently demonstrate a level of understanding of the client’s needs, whether the scheme is required to meet the demands of a maintenance budget, plant replacement, or re-wiring and refurbishment.

Practical, no-nonsense, solutions

In the case of a refurbishment or extension, the scheme could be as a result of suitability findings in relation to the Asset Management Plan.

ECS have been involved with Local Authorities, Church bodies and Surveying Practices in undertaking Condition Surveys of existing property stock in relation to the condition and suitability of Building Services Systems.

In consideration of refurbishment schemes, ECS produce practical design solutions which enable buildings to remain occupied whilst the school continues to function. This involves maximising school holiday activities and weekend project management.
ECS are able to meet the challenge of the particular project requirements to meet the client’s needs.
