East Cheshire Hospice

This project involved the refurbishment of the East Cheshire Hospice in Macclesfield with the addition of a new Clinical Annexe.

The new state-of-the-art facility featured a curved footprint with extensive use of roof glazing and sedum roofing.

Given the sensitivity of the surroundings all of the works were carefully sequenced following full consultation and coordination with key hospice staff and initial phasing concentrated on the new build facilities, which were brought into operational use to create access for works within the existing buildings.
