Volunteering for DofE

At ECS, we are committed to creating social value in the communities we work. Peter Bowes, plays an important role in this by volunteering as a registered Duke of Edinburgh’s Award assessor. Peter gives up his own time – often at weekends – to support young people on their Bronze, Silver and Gold expeditions, whether locally in Essex or across challenging terrains such as the Peak District and Snowdon.

Most recently, he delivered a two-day assessment for a local school, helping students build resilience, teamwork and confidence. Peter’s dedication reflects ECS’s wider commitment to making a positive difference beyond our core consultancy services, ensuring we contribute lasting social value to local communities as well as to our clients.
