ECS Cycle to Support Alzheimer’s Society

We love to celebrate our staff members achievements, both personally and professionally, which is why we wanted to offer our congratulations to ECS Director Daniel Clarke and IT Engineer Dave Spencer who recently completed the Lakeland Loop in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The Alzheimer’s Society is the UK’s leading dementia charity who are committed to transforming the landscape of dementia forever, ensuring those affected are supported and accepted.
A difficult endeavor even when surrounded by the beautiful lake district views (and hills!), the Lakeland Loop charity ride consisted of 70 miles and 10,000ft of accent.
The hardest section of road was undoubtedly Hardknott Pass, which at over 1.5 miles long and with sections of 33% gradient, Daniel simply described as ‘brutal!’
Well done Dan and Dave! What a fantastic, although challenging way to raise awareness for such a great charity.
